Our Fleet

The Delta Virtual Fleet is comprised of current and historical aircraft from Delta and its long history since it first took to the skies in 1925 as Huff Daland Dusters, Inc in Macon, Georgia. Passenger operations began in 1929 with service in and around the Mississippi Delta Region (Hence the name Delta was adapted from the Mississippi Delta). Beginning in post war America, Delta Airlines began to grow its fleet with the introduction of Douglas DC-3, Convair CV-340, and to a full jet service in 1954 with the DC-8. Over the years, other aircraft entered the fold including the Boeing company with its DC-8. Pilots with The Delta Virtual can typically fly any of the aircraft listed below, and if they are type cast for that frame in their career. Also, aircraft can be used if it was used with a Delta Partner such as the Concorde with Air France.
